Jarrett Way dedication set for Friday morning

Officials from the University of North Dakota athletic department and alumni association and foundation are holding a special ceremony Friday morning to honor Glenn "Red" Jarrett at the High Performance Center and the UND and Grand Forks Community are invited to share in the dedication of "Jarrett Way". 

Notes: Homestand begins second-half league slate

North Dakota embarks on the second half of the Big Sky Conference schedule with six of the final eight at home at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. It starts with a four-match homestand, hosting Idaho State Thursday and Weber State Saturday.

Game Notes: UND preps for annual "Green Out" game

UND will go for back-to-back home wins as Sacramento State visits the Alerus Center for a Big Sky clash. Kickoff for the program's annual "Green Out" game is set for 12:30 p.m. CT. Fans are encouraged to wear their UND green for the tilt.

Softball apparel now on sale

Athletics Director Brian Faison to retire Dec. 31

University of North Dakota Director of Athletics Brian Faison has announced he will retire at the end of 2017. Faison said Dec. 31 will be his final day as UND's 15th Director of Athletics.

Cam Johnson, Grant Mismash recognized by NCHC

OGDEN, Utah-- It's probably becoming somewhat of a given, but the well-decorated senior middle blocker for North Dakota has had a standout career and continues to impress on a weekly basis. For that, Faith Dooley has been named the Big Sky Conference's Defensive Player of the Week yet again, the fourth time she's won a weekly award from the league this season.

Saints swept away

Six different Fighting Hawks found the net and Cam Johnson stopped 27 of 28 shots to give North Dakota a 6-1 win and series sweep over St. Lawrence on Saturday night.
