Home streak intact as UND sweeps Weber State

GRAND FORKS, N.D.-- Though it was very much in peril in a lackluster third set, the University of North Dakota's home set-winning streak remained intact as the Fighting Hawks rallied for a 25-21, 25-21, 27-25 win over Weber State Saturday morning. UND now has won an incredible 38 consecutive sets at home in the midst of its program-record 19-match home winning streak.

Three Fighting Hawks record double-doubles in sweep of ISU

GRAND FORKS, N.D.-- Three different North Dakota players recorded double-doubles, powering the home team to its 18th straight home win with a 3-0 win over Idaho State Thursday in Big Sky Conference play. North Dakota has now won 35 consecutive sets at home as well, dating back to last season.

Notes: Homestand begins second-half league slate

North Dakota embarks on the second half of the Big Sky Conference schedule with six of the final eight at home at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. It starts with a four-match homestand, hosting Idaho State Thursday and Weber State Saturday.

Dooley picks up her fourth Big Sky weekly honor

OGDEN, Utah-- It's probably becoming somewhat of a given, but the well-decorated senior middle blocker for North Dakota has had a standout career and continues to impress on a weekly basis. For that, Faith Dooley has been named the Big Sky Conference's Defensive Player of the Week yet again, the fourth time she's won a weekly award from the league this season.

UND hits season-best in sweep at Montana

MISSOULA, Mont. -- North Dakota dominated host Montana Saturday evening in Big Sky Conference play, hitting a season-high .423 with just seven total attack errors in a 3-0 sweep. UND was paced by Jordan Vail's 11 kills while Faith Dooley added 10 as the Fighting Hawk middle hitters combined to hit .588 in the win.

Fighting Hawks nab win No. 20 in sweep at MSU

BOZEMAN, Mont.-- North Dakota notched its 20th overall win, the ninth time in the last 10 years, with a 3-0 win at Montana State Friday in Big Sky Conference play. The win helped UND shake free from a brief two-match skid as it improved to 5-2 in league play.

SACRAMENTO, Calif.-- Sacramento State out-lasted North Dakota, 3-2, to remain unbeaten in Big Sky Conference play Thursday night. UND suffered its first defeat in league play this season and its first loss in five sets this year as well (4-1).

OGDEN, Utah-- North Dakota's Faith Dooley and Sacramento State's Kennedy Kurtz earned this week's Big Sky Conference player of the week honors. Kurtz was named the Offensive Player of the Week honoree, while Dooley picked up the Defensive Player of the Week award, her third weekly honor and second defensive nod.
