POCATELLO, Idaho-- Second-seeded North Dakota ran its season-best winning streak to eight straight with a 25-19, 25-15, 25-20 win over seven-seed Montana Thursday morning at Idaho State University in the quarterfinal round of the Big Sky Conference Tournament. UND (26-8) tied a school record for season wins in the process and picked up its first-ever victory in the postseason league tournament in its three seasons in the Big Sky.
OGDEN, Utah-- Four University of North Dakota players earned recognition from the Big Sky Conference as the league handed out its all-conference and individual awards Wednesday. Seniors Nikki Husfeldt and Lexi Robinson were each honored on the All-Big Sky First Team while Faith Dooley was dubbed the Freshman of the Year and a second teamer with junior McKenzie Hart grabbing the Libero of the Year.
