Sean Fantuzzi, who joined the University of North Dakota in Aug. 2016 as assistant strength & conditioning coach, works directly with UND's men's basketball and women's soccer programs.
Fantuzzi came to North Dakota from Loyola University in Baltimore, where he spent the 2015-16 season as an assistant strength coach and worked with Loyola's men's and women's swimming & diving, crew, and women's cross country teams.
His collegiate experience also includes a graduate assistantship at Saint Francis University in 2014-15, where he earned a master's degree in health sciences, and pair of tenures on the strength staff at his alma mater, Penn State.
A native of Carlisle, Pa., Fantuzzi graduated from Penn State in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He is a certified National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a certified United States Weightlifting (USAW) Level 1 Sport Performance Coach.
