Tony Goldenstein joined UND Athletics in July 2014 as director of corporate partnerships.
Goldenstein is responsible for prospecting, selling, cultivating and maintaining the sponsorships, advertising and corporate partnerships for UND Athletics and its facilities in both new and existing business.
A 2008 graduate of the University of North Dakota, Goldenstein served as the marketing coordinator and account executive for the Arena Football League's Iowa Barnstormers before returning to his alma mater. While with Iowa, Goldenstein implemented and executed marketing and advertising campaigns for the Barnstormers while also developing accounts with corporate sponsors and season-ticket holders. He also assisted in the planning and execution of game day operations and in-game promotions.
Goldenstein earned a bachelor's degree in general studies with a concentration in sports business from UND in 2008. He received his master's degree in business administration from UND two years later.
As a graduate student he served as a marketing assistant for UND Athletics, assisting in the development of promotional campaigns and in-game promotions for UND's 21 teams. He also spent one year as a marketing intern with Ralph Engelstad Arena, the home of UND hockey.
