Erik Martinson serves as the athletics business operations assistant for the business office in the athletics department.
Martinson works directly with day-to-day business operations alongside Deb Beiswenger. Duties include revising and reconciling team trip reports, travel expense vouchers, accounts payable functions, accounts receivable functions, deposits and other miscellaneous reporting for UND accounting. Martinson also serves as the statistics coordinator for men’s and women’s hockey, and also assists with volleyball statistics.
Martinson, a UND graduate in accounting, is in his sixth year with the University of North Dakota athletics department. He began his tenure at UND in 2005, starting as a business office work study student while taking classes at UND. In 2009, Martinson was promoted to his current position.
Martinson graduated from Roseau High School in Roseau, Minn., where he played football, hockey, and baseball for the Rams.
