Meadow Vista, Calif. - Sophomore Collin Lervick posted his second-consecutive score of 79 (+7) on Saturday in second-round play at the Winchester Classic. Lervick is the top UND golfer through 36 holes in a three-day tournament hosted by UC Davis.

The host Aggies moved into the team lead by putting togethern another total of 289, providing them with a four-stroke cushion (578, +2) going into the final round. UC Santa Barbara, who led after the first day, fell to fifth after shooting a 302 (+14) in round two.

Lervick was the lone UND golfer to break 80 on the second day. Junior Sean Halverson fired an 83 (+11) after posting a 79 in the opening round, while senior Alex Robb improved his score from the opening round by three strokes with an 84 (+12). Sophomore Joseph McNelis carded an 86 (+14) for the second-straight day.

UND is only golfing with four players in the 54-hole event. The team will next play in the America Sky Championships set for April 29-May 1 at the Dominion Country Club in San Antonion.
