GRAND FORKS, N.D. – North Dakota moved up in one national poll and held steady in the other after skating to a conference split last weekend at top-ranked Miami.

UND held on to the No. 6 spot in the USCHO.com poll while climbing one spot to No. 7 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.

UND defeated the RedHawks 4-2 on Friday night in the first league game in National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) history. Miami bounced back on Saturday with 6-2 victory, but fell to No. 3 in both polls. Minnesota took over the No. 1 spot in both.

UND takes an early break from NCHC play this week and will hosted the United States Under-18 Team in an exhibition game Saturday night at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
