KANSAS CITY – On the eve of the Big Sky Men’s Basketball Touranment, senior Troy Huff was one of three league players named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District 6 First Team. Huff was also one of three repeat players from the Big Sky on a team that is also comprised of players Western Athletic Conference. 

The Milwaukee native was the only Big Sky player this season to rank in the top five in both scoring (19.6 ppg) and rebounding (7.0 rpg) and he also led the league in steals (2.3 spg). He led the Big Sky in scoring last season when he was named to the NABC All-District 6 Second Team.

Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, these student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America. The 252 student-athletes, from 25 districts, are eligible for the NABC Coaches’ Division I All-America teams.

Huff and his UND teammates open the Big Sky Conference Tournament on Thursday as the second-seeded Green and White play seventh-seeded Sacramento State at 3:05 p.m. CT. All quarterfinal and semifinal games are being streamed live at www.WatchBigSky.com.
