AMES, Iowa - North Dakota distance runners Nick Lindstrom and Sam Saccoman each enjoyed career performances in the 3,000-meters today at the Iowa State Classic.

Lindstrom, a sophomore from Shakopee, Minn., recorded a personal-record time of 8 minutes, 36.96 seconds. Teammate Saccoman, a junior from Hibbing, Minn., ran the race in a PR time of 8:39.81.
