2012-13 (Sophomore): Appeared in all but one game and collected two goals and two assists ... Both goals were unassisted and both came against top-12 teams ... Scored key go-ahead goal in the third period of UND’s 4-3 win at No. 10 Minnesota State (March 8) ... Breakaway goal came at 6:46 of the third period and put UND ahead 3-2 ... Goal broke a personal 28-game drought ... Other goal came in a 4-2 loss to No. 12 Boston University (Nov. 3) ... Was a plus or even in 19 of his last 21 games, including each of the last 11 ... Earned second letter.

2011-12 (Freshman): Played in all 42 games and led UND’s freshmen with three game-winning goals ... Only seven freshmen have ever scored more game-winning goals at UND ... His first career goal was the game-winner with 1:54 remaining in the third period of a 5-3 win over Wisconsin (Jan. 27) and came on his 21st birthday ... All four of his goals came during WCHA play ... Both of his assists came in one game, a 7-3 win over Harvard on New Year’s Eve ... All seven of his points came from New Year’s Eve on ... Set up Mario Lamoureux’s game-winning goal in 6-3 WCHA Final Five semifinal win over No. 4 Minnesota in which UND rallied from a 3-0 deficit … Was a +1 in UND’s 3-1 win over No. 12 Western Michigan in the NCAA West Region semifinal … Earned first letter.

Before UND: Spent the previous two seasons with the MHJL’s Portage Terriers ... Racked up 62 points (21g, 41a) in 62 games last season to finish 10th in the MJHL scoring race ... Was named Portage’s Most Valuable Player and finished the 2010-11 season as the Terriers’ captain ... Added 16 points in the MJHL Playoffs and the ANAVET Cup ...
