GRAND FORKS, N.D. - Members of the Fighting Sioux baseball team will take a break from the playing field on Saturday as they will be spending their time roaming the streets of Grand Forks. It is all for a good cause as head coach Jeff Dodson's squad will be going door-to-door throughout the community collecting warm clothing items for the Winter Warm-up Clothing Drive.
The players will hit the streets from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday in search of any extra adult coats that citizens would be willing to donate. The team will take their collection back to the Northlands Rescue Mission in downtown Grand Forks.

"This is a great opportunity to for our team to give back to the community and help out the rescue mission," Dodson said. "We're also thankful Rydell Chevrolet has joined us in the venture, giving people who are out and about a chance to donate as well."
There will be a drop box stationed in the show room at Rydell Chevrolet off Washington Street for anyone willing to drop off adult coats for the drive.
