TORONTO, Ont.-- The University of North Dakota women's basketball team has embarked on its foreign trip to Toronto for three exhibition games. UNDSports.com will have gameday chats and a travel blog covering the team's trip.

Saturday was a travel day as the team headed across the border via bus to Winnipeg, Manitoba and flew to Toronto. Two players currently on the roster could not be on the trip, but were certainly there in spirit (and on popsicle sticks-- look closely). Makailah Dyer (transferred in from Wisconsin last year) and Samantha Roscoe (signed with UND from Australia) could not make the trip.

Among the items on the agenda during the trip are a Canadian Football League game (with current Edmonton Eskimo and former UND footballer Donovan Alexander), Niagara Falls and some other walking visits of downtown.

This is a business trip, though, with UND playing three teams in three consecutive days. The game schedule is below. It features a pair of All-Star teams as well as Ryerson University. That Ryerson matchup will be played under FIBA rules-- more on that during Monday's blog entry and chat session.

Again, follow the twitter feed @UNDWbasketball and look for blog updates at UNDSports.com.
