The countdown to UND football is on. With 34 days and counting to the start of the University of North Dakota football season, UNDSports.com is here every Friday with updates, news and other fun items to get ready for the year.

Mike Cunningham is new to the North Dakota football staff. Cunningham, who comes to UND after seven seasons at Minnesota State, will coach the offensive line.

Cunningham was recently featured by UNDsports.com. He talked about his background, what he looks for in an offensive lineman.

North Dakota starts the season on Aug. 29 against Valparaiso. UND hosts seven home games this season in its second year in the Big Sky Conference.
