PORTLAND, Ore. – The first women’s event of the 2013 Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship is in the books, and University of North Dakota senior Megan Gray has three personal records to show for it.

After notching a PR in the shot put during the first day of the heptathlon on Wednesday, Gray added PRs in the javelin throw and for total heptathlon points as the event concluded today. The St. Cloud, Minn., native recorded a career-best javelin throw of 35.07 meters (115’1”) and finished the event with 4,321 points, also a personal high. Gray, who entered the week ranked 17th in the conference in the heptathlon, finished in 14th place.
