GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The North Dakota baseball team will close out a 15-game homestand and its 2012 home schedule this weekend with a four-game series against Houston Baptist. It will be a busy closing weekend for the Fighting Sioux, who have nine out of 12 overall and are playing their best baseball of the season.

The series opener is set for Friday against a Houston Baptist team that is tied for fourth in the GWC standings.  UND is currently tied for sixth, four games behind the Huskies.
