GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Junior placekicker Zeb Miller (Ankeny, Iowa) became the third University of North Dakota football player to find their name on a College Football Performance Awards watch list this summer. Miller joins running back Jake Miller (Bismarck, N.D.) and defensive end Ross Brenneman (Omaha, Neb.), who were named to their respective position watch lists in May.

Zeb Miller made 15 of 19 field goals in 2011 en route to earning All-Great West second team honors. Jake Miller earned All-GWC first team accolades, while Brenneman joined Zeb Miller on the second team.

Jake Miller finished his sophomore season second in the GWC with 942 rushing yards and scored 14 total touchdowns (13 rushing). He was the first player in GWC history to earn three consecutive Player of the Week accolades. Brenneman led UND with 10 sacks and will enter his senior season needing eight sacks to become the program’s all-time leader in that category.

The CFPA will announce three more positional watch lists throughout the rest of the summer: punter (June 25), all-purpose/kick returner (July 2) and punt returner (July 9).
