GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The University of North Dakota's track and field senior student-athletes were invited to the office of UND President Dr. Robert Kelley to receive their diplomas earlier this month in an exclusive graduation ceremony.

Candidates for degrees Lindsay Anderson (Leeds, N.D.), Emily Emerson (Lino Lakes, Minn.) and Tyler Rose (Brainerd, Minn.) were unable to attend UND's Spring 2012 Commencement on May 12 because UND was in Houston competing at the Great West Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship.

Each student-athlete received their diploma from President Kelley, with athletics director Brian Faison, head track and field coach Kevin Galbraith and head cross country coach Dick Clay also in attendance.
