Chandler, Ariz. - The North Dakota women's golf team wrapped up its first season in the Big Sky with a 10th-place finish at the league championship. Freshman Abbie Mozzetti was the top performer for UND, finishing 37th with a 54-hole score of 238 (+22).

Mozzetti led UND in both the first and third rounds, closing the tournament with a 79 (+7) as the Green and White shot a 333 (+45) on Tuesday at the Ocotillo Golf Resort.

"I want to thank our seniors for the hard work they put into this program and I'm proud of how they developed as young woman both in the classroom and on the course," UND head coach Natalie Martinson said. "They were in a unique position going through the transition to Division I and I'm glad they were able to experience an event like this before their careers ended.

"I know they'll take a lot of good memories and friendships away from their years at UND."

Grozdanich shot a 38 (+2) on the back nine, which she played in just eight-over par for the tournament, while Montgomery's score was her best of the 54-hole event.
