HIGHLAND, Utah -- Junior Robin Hutchinson led North Dakota with a final-round 79 on Wednesday during the final day of competition of the 2012 Great West Conference Women's Golf Championship.
Hutchinson, a native of Detroit Lakes, Minn., posted the lowest round of the entire tournament by a Sioux and finished tied for 19th place with teammates Amanda Fairweather (Fr., Maple Valley, Wash.) and Brooke Finger (Fr., Northfield, Minn.). All three shot a 3-round 248.
Junior Chivas Beaudoin (Dickinson, N.D.) was UND's top finisher, tying for 14th place with a 242 (80-82-80).
Houston Baptist captured its third straight conference title with a team score of 904. UND placed fifth with a 983.
Utah Valley's Lynn-Marie Nagel earned medalist honors with a 222.
