GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The North Dakota baseball team will close out non-conference play on Tuesday as South Dakota State pays a visit to Kraft Field. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. between the Sioux (12-31) and Jacks (14-28).

Live stats and a live audio feed will be available at www.FightingSioux.com.

The two teams met earlier this season in Brookings with SDSU taking a 12-6 victory over UND. The Jacks were on top 4-3 after three innings before breaking the game open with three in the fourth and five in the fifth.

Junior Kris Kwak (Maple Grove, Minn.) and freshman Jeff Campbell (Clearwater, Fla.) each had two hits for the Sioux, who beat the Jacks 5-2 last season at Kraft Field.

The two teams are going in opposite directions here towards the end of the 2012 campaing. UND has won eight of its last 11 games, while the Jacks have won just three of their last 11.

Campbell and classmate Tyler Follis (Bemidji, Minn.) have been a big reason for UND's turnaround. The Sioux first baseman has belted seven home runs and driven in 11 during the 8-3 run, while Follis is batting .455 (10-for-24), scored 17 runs and drive in 10.

Campbell leads all Division I freshman with 11 home runs on the season, while Follis ranks second among NCAA Division I rookies with a .385 batting average. Campbell (3-6) has also picked up two of those wins on the mound and is the only Sioux pitcher to win three of his starts.

The Sioux will close out their 15-game homestand this weekend with their final GWC home series of the season vs. Houston Baptist.

UND and HBU will open the four-game set on Friday with a single game at 3 p.m. Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 12 p.m. as will Sunday's series finale.  The finale was originally set for 1 p.m., but has been moved up one hour to help accommodate the travel plans for the visiting Huskies.
