SAN ANTONIO -  Junior Sean Halverson led the charge on what was the best day of the America Sky Championship for the North Dakota men's golf team on Wednesday.  Halverson's final round 75 (+3) was the low round of the tournament turned in by a UND golfer.

Halverson made five birdies, including back-to-back efforts on last two holes of the tournament, to help the Green and White post a 307 (+19) - a 10-shot improvement from round one and a six-stroke improvement from round two.

Seniors Alex Robb and Nick Schaefer both turned in scores of 77 (+5) in what would be the final collegiate rounds for the veteran duo. Schaefer made three birdies in his last 18 holes, while Robb had two.

Sophomore Collin Lervick helped UND's top foursome all break 80 on the final for the first time in the tournament as he carded a 78 (+6) at The Dominion Country Club.  Lervick was the top UND finisher, tying for 39th with a 54-hole total of 231 (+15).

Houston Baptist, who led after the first round, but lost its lead to Southern Utah after round-two play, rallied to win the team title with a final round score of 286. The Huskies finished with a 54-hole score of 871 (+7), which was three shots better than Southern Utah (874, +10), who held the 36-hole lead by a stroke over HBU.
