Polls peg UND 13th, 14th after split at UNO

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota is ranked No. 13 in the latest USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll and No. 14 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll, both of which were released earlier today.

North Dakota is coming off of a National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) split at unranked Nebraska Omaha, winning 3-2 on Sunday after a 4-2 defeat on Saturday.

Minnesota and Michigan maintained the top two spots in both polls, with St. Cloud State, Notre Dame and Quinnipiac also receiving first-place votes in both. Providence also receive a single first-place vote in the USA Today poll.

UND’s next opponent, Minnesota Duluth, was ranked 20th in the USCHO poll but was unranked in the USA Today poll. The Bulldogs visit Ralph Engelstad Arena on Friday and Saturday.
