OGDEN, Utah - Junior Troy Huff put together a memorable weekend in leading his North Dakota squad to a pair of home wins and he was named Co-Big Sky Player of the Week for his efforts on Monday. He shared his second Big Sky weekly honor with Northern Colorado's Tate Unruh.

Huff averaged 21.5 ppg, 8.5 rpg and 3.5 spg as UND won back-to-back home games over Eastern Washington and Portland State. On Thursday, Huff scored 18 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to register his second double-double of the season. His 18 points also made him a member of UND's 1,000-point club - becoming just the ninth junior and 32nd player in program history to achieve that mileston.

In Saturday's 84-75 win over Portland State, Huff poured in a season-high 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field. Eighteen of his points came after halftime as UND broke open what was just a two-point spread (40-38) at the break.

Huff also went a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line against the Vikings as UND set a school record for most free throws made in a game without a miss (21). Huff went 11-for-12 in the two games from the charity stripe for a 91.7 percent clip.

His seven steals on the weekend also moved him into eighth place on UND's all-time career charts for that category with 111.

Huff and his teammates will return to action on Thursday with a Big Sky road tilt at Sacramento State. Tipoff is set for 9:05 p.m. CT.
