Jonesboro, Ark. - Senior Sean Halverson wrapped a strong showing at the Arkansas State Red Wolves Intercollegiate, tying for 25th and leading the North Dakota men's golf team during all three rounds of play at the RidgePointe Golf Club.

In what was the team's final tune-up before the America Sky Golf Championship later this month in Angels Camp, Calif., Halverson had two birdies to help post a final-round 76 (+5). He finished with a 54-hole total of 225 (+12), which equaled his best 54-hole score of the season (Husky Invite). 

Junior Collin Lervick did not finish a hole with worse than a bogey en route to an 81 (+10) in the final round. Freshman Aaron Pulanco turned in his best score of the tournament with a final round 84 (+13). 

UND finished with a three-round total of 989 as tournament host Arkansas State won the team title after holding a wire-to-wire lead on the 21-team field. The Red Wolves (862; +7) finished with the lowest team score of the tournament, posting a 282 (-3) on Tuesday to fend off Belmont (874; +19).

UND returns to action April 24-27 at the America Sky Golf Championship.
