Many exciting things await the University of North Dakota soccer team. A new conference in the Big Sky, a home schedule at includes rivals North Dakota State and South Dakota State and a number of talented young student-athletes.

The team, which starts the season on Friday at Northern Iowa, talked about what they are looking forward to this season.

"I think the biggest thing is we have a great incoming class with nine new freshmen we're excited about," senior Caitlyn Haring said. "To be in the Big Sky is a great opportunity for us. We're excited to come in as underdogs and show what we're made of."
