Nebraska City, Neb. - Senior Alex Robb (Chanhassen, Minn.) fired his second straight 76 (+4) to pace the North Dakota men's golf team in final round action at the Fairway Club Invitational on Tuesday. Host Nebraska (899, +35) held off a hard-charging Illinois State (900, +36) squad by one stroke to win the team title for the second consecutive year.

Robb moved up nine spots in the individual standings with his final round 76. He shot a 233 (+17) to finish in a tie for 31st. Sophomore Collin Lervick (Chanhassen, Minn.) posted his low round of the tournament in his final 18 holes, carding a 77 (+5), while senior Nick Schaefer (Grand Forks, N.D.) finished just three shots off of Robb's pace at 236 (+20) after a final round 79 (+7).

Lervick was tied for 53rd with a three-round total of 239 (+23). He was joined at that score with junior Sean Halverson (Brainerd, Minn.), who shot an 82 (+10) at the Arbor Links Golf Course.

Illinois State's Ricky Bearden took medalist honors with a 219 (+3) after winning a sudden-death playoff with Nebraska's Kevin Gillick. Bearden shot back-to-back 72's to force the playoff.
