GRAND FORKS, N.D. – After picking up national honors by College Football Performance Awards on Sunday, the North Dakota duo of senior Marcus Hendrickson (Perham, Minn.) and junior wide receiver Greg Hardin (Bellevue, Neb.) continued to haul in weekly awards from a number of different organizations that cover FCS football.

Hendrickson garnered the ROOT SPORTS Big Sky Co-Offensive Player of the Week award, The Sports Network Co-Offensive Player of the Week award and was named a National All Star by The College Sporting News on Monday. The UND signal caller tied the school record with six touchdown passes in the 45-37 victory over Portland State on Saturday. He threw for 294 yards on 16-of-25 passing in what was his first career start.

Hendrickson leads the FCS with a passing efficiency rate of 251.38, which is more than 70 points higher than the next closest quarterback – Tre Lamb of Tennessee Tech (187.86). He also leads the FCS with eight passing touchdowns.

Hardin was named the NCAA.com Offensive Player of the Week after his performance against Portland State that saw him equal his career highs for catches (six) and touchdowns (three) in a game, while setting a new standard for receiving yards with 190. The 190-yard effort was the seventh highest in the UND football single-game record book.

Hardin leads the FCS through two games with 146.5 receiving yards per game and he is also averaging a gaudy 35.6 yards per reception. Four of his nine receptions this season have gone for scores and he is now tied for sixth on the UND career charts with 16 receiving touchdowns.

UND will travel to San Diego State on Saturday to face the Aztecs of the Mountain West Conference at 7:05 p.m. CT.
