MISSOULA, Mont. - Senior Lindsay Anderson placed fourth individually to pace North Dakota to a runner-up effort today at the Montana Invitational.

Anderson charted the 5K course in 18:13.1 to finish fourth in a field of 34 runners. He effort enabled UND to finish second in the team standings with 50 points.

Montana State (19 points) finished first, with the host Grizzlies (82) placing third, followed by Eastern Washington (92) in fourth.

Unattached runner Kara Dewalt captured medalist honors with a time of 17:41.8.

UND sophomore Erin Wysocki joined Anderson in the top 10, placing 10th with a time of 18:38.0

UND freshman Lydia Lutz made it three UND runners in the top half of the individual field, placing 14th with a time of 18:53.4.

After a week off, UND will return to action on Oct. 13 when it hosts the Ron Pynn Invitational during Homecoming weekend.
