Daytona Beach, Fla. - The North Dakota women's golf team concluded its fall season on Sunday with final round play at the LPGA Xavier International. UND fired its best round of the 54-hole tournament led by a pair of 81's turned in by sophomore Amanda Fairweather (Maple Valley, Wash.) and freshman Abbie Mozzetti (Hugo, Minn.).

Fairweather ended up as the top finisher for UND, who placed 13th in the 14-team field, as she tied for 54th (83-89-81 = 253, +37). Her 81 on Sunday was her low round of the tournament, and so was the case for Mozzetti, who wound up in a tie for 60th (90-86-81 = 257 +41).

The four scorers for UND combined for a 338 (+50) on Sunday, which was nine strokes better than their second round and 16 strokes better than their opening round on the par-72, 6,178-yard course at the home of the Ladies Professional Golf Association.

Old Dominion rallied from a two-stroke deficit entering the day to capture the team title with a tournament-low 304 (+16) during the final round. The Monarchs had a six-stroke cushion when the final putt dropped, placing ahead of Florida Gulf Coast, who led after the first and second rounds.

Senior Robin Hutchinson (Detroit Lakes, Minn.) was consistent during her three rounds on the Daytona Beach course, tallying an 86 after the completion of each one of those.
