ON TAP
The University of North Dakota will host its third of four home swim meets this Saturday when it welcomes rival South Dakota to the Hyslop pool. Action is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m.

WEL-QUON TO NORTH DAKOTA
Freshman Caitlin Quon ushered in her collegiate career in fine fashion, winning three events and scoring runner-up finishes in two other events during last weekend's duals with St. Cloud State and Nebraska. For her efforts, Quon became the first UND swimmer to earn Western Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week accolades since the school joined the conference prior to last season.

EBERLE IN THE ZONE
Junior Richard Eberle's effort from the 3-meter board in last Saturday's dual with St. Cloud State has already qualified him for the NCAA Zones in March. Eberle would have qualified each of the past two seasons, but with North Dakota still completing the re-classification to NCAA Division I, he was not eligible to compete.

WATCH IT FREE
Those unable to make it to the Hyslop pool to watch Saturday's meet can still catch the action by logging on to the UND Insider and watching a free video webcast. Director of New Media Matt Schill will provide commentary for the webcast and will get post-meet reactions from UND coaches following Saturday's meet.

THAT'S WAC
A pair of UND swimmers have the fastest times in their respective events in the Western Athletic Conference in the early going. Quon's 1650 free time of is over 24 seconds better than the rest of the league while Veronica Medon's 200 backstroke time of 2:04.50 sets the standard in that event.
