GRAND FORKS, N.D. – University of North Dakota Alumni Association & Foundation officials along with UND Athletics Department officials announced the creation of the “UND Spirit Pass” for the upcoming 2013 UND Homecoming Celebration. This pass will combine various athletic and campus events that will be taking place in Grand Forks during the University’s annual Homecoming Weekend (October 11th-13th).

The concept for the first annual “Spirit Pass” is to allow alumni and fans the opportunity to buy one pass covering multiple events. The 2013 Homecoming Weekend promises to be the biggest ever at UND as the campus will be celebrating the completion of the North Dakota Spirit Campaign, which has raised over $300 million.

"This is going to be a special Homecoming at North Dakota," UND Athletics Director Brian Faison said. "Not only are we celebrating the great success of the North Dakota Spirit Campaign, but we will have volleyball, football, men's hockey and women's hockey all playing at home for our fans to enjoy. The Spirit Pass will be a great way for alumni and fans to get in on all of the Homecoming action at one great price."

Alumni and fans will have the opportunity to buy an all-weekend pass ($120) or a Saturday only pass ($90).

All-weekend “Spirit Pass” includes a single ticket for:
• Both UND Men’s Hockey Games (Fri. and Sat. vs. Vermont)
• UND Football Game (Sat. vs. Eastern Washington)
• UND Volleyball Game (Sat. vs. Portland State)
• UND Women’s Hockey Game (Sun. vs. Minnesota-Duluth)
• Homecoming Brunch (Saturday morning)
• a 2013 UND Homecoming T-Shirt (S-XXXL), a UND Head Scarf and a Stomping Grounds Coffee coupon

Saturday only “Spirit Pass” includes a single ticket for Oct. 12th events including:
• UND Men’s Hockey Game (vs. Vermont)
• UND Football Game (vs. Eastern Washington)
• UND Volleyball Game (vs. Portland State)
• Homecoming Brunch (Saturday morning)
• a 2013 UND Homecoming T-Shirt (S-XXXL), a UND Head Scarf and a Stomping Grounds Coffee coupon

“The energy on campus will be high this Homecoming, as we celebrate the culmination of the North Dakota Spirit Campaign and our great University,” Tim O’Keefe, UND Alumni Association & Foundation Executive Vice President & CEO, said. “We welcome all of our alumni and friends to join us in our biggest homecoming celebration ever.”

Spirit passes are on sale now and can be purchased online at https://www.undalumni.org/SpiritPass. Spirit Passes are limited and fans are encouraged to purchase early.

Registration for the Spirit Passes closes August 1, 2013.
