Grand Forks, N.D. - The UND women's tennis team ended its four game home stand with a 7-0 loss to Montana State on Friday afternoon at Choice Health and Fitness Center.
Head Coach Tom Wynne recapped the loss saying, "we were a little flat and that's about all Montana State needed. They wanted to assert their dominance and in the future that gives us a good rivalry"
Montana State earned the doubles play point by winning all three matches.
In singles play, the closest match was between junior Stephanie Biehn (Sherburn, Minn.) and Wena Tsan which resulted in a 6-2, 7-5 Montana win. Montana also won the other six singles matches.
UND will travel to Des Moines, Iowa to take on Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Friday, Feb. 8th at 3:30 p.m.
