BOZEMAN, Mont. -- For the second consecutive day, freshman Stephanie Clarke broke her own school record in the 400-meters. And today, she did it while also earning the first All-Big Sky Conference honors in her team's history.

Clarke ran the 400 finals in 55.61 seconds on the final day of the 2013 Big Sky Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship, clipping the time of 56.62 seconds she ran yesterday. Today's performance was also good for a third-place finish and all-conference honors for the Edmonton, Alberta, native.

Clarke and her teammates finished 11th in the team standings of their first Big Sky Championship, with Sacramento State taking first place.

Junior Savana Weller (Sauk Centre, Minn.) and sophomore Rochelle Robb (Bull Bay, Jamaica) also scored for North Dakota, both placing fifth in their respective events. Weller was fifth in the 800-meters with a time of 2 minutes, 15.68 seconds, while Robb was fifth in the high jump with a leap of 1.70 meters (5 feet, 7 inches).

In the shot put, sophomore Chantel Urban (Surrey, N.D.) placed 11th with a mark of 13.08 meters (42 feet, 11 inches), while freshman Molly Griep (Whitewater, Wis.) was 14th with a throw of 12.68 meters (41 feet, 7 ¼ inches).

UND will now take a week off before opening the outdoor season March 8-9 at the UNC-Wilmington Seahawk Invitational.
