GRAND FORKS, N.D. --- The University of North Dakota softball team's doubleheader with Southern Utah today has been canceled due to poor field conditions at LaFave Field in East Grand Forks, Minn.

The games were initially delayed two hours due to warming temperature and work being done to the field in attempts to get the games in, but after deliberation and determining there to be standing water in the outfield that could not be removed the games were canceled.

UND will open its home schedule next Friday at 2 p.m. against Big Sky Conference foe Sacramento State.
