Northern Arizona blanks UND men's tennis

FLAGSTAFF, ARIZ. -- The North Dakota men's tennis team was shutout by a score of 5-0 against Big Sky Conference opponent Northern Arizona on Saturday, March 15.

The Lumberjacks won the first two doubles competition matches and earned the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead over UND.

Northern Arizona earned four more points in singles action.

Senior Ryan McGuigan (Fargo, N.D.) took his No. 2 match to three sets against Alenandre Locci. He edged Locci in the first set with a score of 6-4 but dropped the two remaining sets to give Locci the victory.

UND will play UNLV on Sunday, March 16 at 5:00 p.m.
