GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota women’s hockey team received 13 points to retain the No. 10 spot in this week’s USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women’s College Hockey Poll.

The No. 10 ranking marks the ninth-consecutive week, and 13th overall, that the Fighting Hawks have been in the top 10.

Wisconsin and Minnesota remain the nation’s No. 1 and No. 2 teams, respectively, while fellow WCHA member Minnesota Duluth claimed the No. 4 spot.

North Dakota plays in its first games of the 2017 year with a conference series against Minnesota State this weekend, Jan. 13-14, in Mankato, Minn. Both games are slated for 2 p.m. start times.
