Was a +3 in UND's two-game sweep of Michigan Tech in the first round of the WCHA playoffs (March 13-14) ... Scored a goal and was a +2 in game one ... 2007-08 (Freshman): Named UND's Rookie of the Year ... Missed the final 11 games of the season due to injury ... Appeared in 32 games and led all Sioux freshmen in goals (eight) and points (13) ... Tied for the WCHA lead (w/ four others) with five game-winning goals ... His five game-winners are tied for the fourth-most by a Sioux freshman (w/ Brandon Bochenski) in team history ... Also scored a pair of game-winning goals ... Enjoyed the first multi-point game of his career with a goal and an assist in 4-1 win over Denver (Feb. 16) ... Before UND: Played the previous two seasons for the Penticton Vees of the British Columbia Hockey League ... In 2006-07 he had 20 goals and 30 assists in 35 regular season games ... Was BCHL Interior Conference Rookie of the Year in 2005-06, when he scored 29 goals and had 50 assists in 59 games as a league rookie ... Also played in BCHL all-star game for Interior Conference ...
