GRAND FORKS, N.D. --- North Dakota's Mary Loken, a freshman forward from Roseau, Minn., scored two goals, fired 11 shots on goal and was a +2 in the Fighting Sioux's 5-0 shutout road victory against Union College last Sunday.

After a scoreless first period of play, Loken got North Dakota on the board first, scoring what proved to be the eventual game-winning goal at 15:03 of period two. She later added the first goal of the third period, scoring at the 3:02 mark, as UND built a 3-0 advantage enroute to the 5-0 win.

As a rookie, Loken has played in all of UND's 18 games so far this 2009-10 season and ranks second in scoring among her teammates with 12 points on six goals and six assists. She has two power-play goals, one game-winner and one game-tying tally to her credit.
