Dan Clausen, originally from Omaha, Neb., was a member of the Fighting Sioux men's basketball team from 1980-82. A two-time All-NCC selection, Dan was named NCC Most Valuable Player in 1982. He ranks 24th on UND's all-time scoring list with 1,093 points. Despite playing just two seasons, Dan averaged 17.3 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. He still holds UND's records for most blocked shots in a game, swatting 10 Augustana shots in January 23, 1982. Dan is also a member of the UND men's basketball All-Century team. He resides in Evanston Park, Australia.
