NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Sean Halverson shot a one-over 143 through the opening two rounds of the Tennessee State Big Blue Intercollegiate, leaving him just five shots off the lead heading into tomorrow's final round.
Halvorson, a sophomore from Brainerd, Minn., opened with a one-under 71 in the first round, then closed out his day with a one-over 73. Halvorson will open Tuesday's third and final round tied for eighth place.
UND shot a 582 (288-294) as a team and sits in sixth place. Murray State leads the team standings with a 563.
Christopher Schwartz of Tennessee-Martin, competing as an individual, is the clubhouse leader with a 138.
