The 2014-15 season marks Adam Lofgren's third as assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of North Dakota. He works primarily with UND's men's and women's tennis teams and serves as the assistant strength coach for UND football.
Lofgren brings extensive collegiate and private experience as a strength and conditioning coach, most recently serving as a volunteer strength coach for the football program at Sacramento State University. Prior to that, he was an athletic performance intern at UCLA, where he assisted with program implementation for 22 varsity sports. During his time at UCLA, Lofgren worked directly with four student-athletes who went on to be selected in the 2011 NFL and NBA drafts.
His previous stops also included a stint at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif., where he was the strength and conditioning coach for women's soccer.
A member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Lofgren received his bachelor's degree in applied exercise science from Azusa Pacific University in 2010. He is a native of Roseville, Calif.
