GRAND FORKS, N.D. --- The University of North Dakota women's hockey team has partnered with Defending the Blue Line for this weekend's season-opening series against Minnesota State, Mankato.
Take the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of local military families by donating your lightly used hockey gear to help keep hockey alive for the children of our nation's heroes.
Former UND men's hockey and current Minnesota Wild star Zach Parise promotes the event here.
Drop off points will be inside the main west entrance and student entrances at the Ralph Engelstad Arena.
Game times against the Mavericks are set for 7:07 p.m. and 2:07 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
