ON TAP
North Dakota (7-9, 3-3 Big Sky) heads west to kickoff a three-match road swing beginning Thursday at Eastern Washington. The trip continues with a Saturday matinee at first-place Portland State before the big rivalry match at North Dakota State Tuesday in the final non-conference matchup.

ON THE HORIZON
UND finishes its first meeting with the other 10 Big Sky schools next weekend when it hosts Southern Utah and Northern Arizona on Oct. 11 and 13, respectively.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES (0-17, 0-6 Big Sky)
EWU, picked to finish third in the Big Sky preseason coaches poll, is still winless on the season after a turbulent opening six weeks of the season ... The Eagles had a change in coaching and have been decimated by injury to their setter position to start the season ... EWU has won just eight sets all season and held a lead in just two matches (both two sets to one) ... Cora Kellerman leads all players with 148 kills (2.51/set).

SCOUTING THE VIKINGS (10-7, 6-0 Big Sky)
PSU remains the lone unbeaten in conference play, despite playing their first four conference matches on the road ... The Vikings have a pair of hitters in the top eight in kills in the Big Sky Conference ... Hitter Jaklyn Wheeler is the Big Sky leader in kills per set (4.27) and is the reigning conference player of the week ... Megan Ellis adds 3.33 kills per set, eighth-most in the league ... Portland State won the previous two meetings between the schools (1991, 1992).

SETTING THE TABLE
Sophomore setter Nikki Husfeldt (Andover, Minn.) remains second in the Big Sky Conference  in assists per set. Husfeldt has generated 11.00 helpers per set on average and has nine matches with 40 assists or more this season. She recorded a career-high 64 assists in the five-set win at Weber State (Sept. 20).

MAKE IT SEVEN
Junior middle hitter Ronni Munkeby (Lisbon, N.D.) has now registered double-digit kill totals in each of the last seven matches. The streak started with a then-season-best dozen-kill performance at Ole Miss. Also included in the run is a 17-kill match at Weber State and a career-high 19 finishes against Montana State in the Big Sky opener. During this stretch, Munkeby is averaging 15 kills per match and is hitting .336 during the streak (105 kills- 32 errors- 207 attacks).

DOUBLE-DOUBLE WATCH
Sophomore Lexi Robinson (Ramsey, Minn.) is tied for third in the Big Sky Conference with nine double-doubles this season. Fellow sophomore Husfeldt has four of her own, including a 64-assist, 11-dig effort at Weber State.

UND ON THE RADIO
A total of four UND matches will be available on the radio.  Tune in to hear Paul Ralston’s call on Sep. 1 for the Green Bay match and catch a pair of Big Sky matches: Sept. 13 vs. MSU and Oct. 1 vs. NC.  The big showdown with in-state rival NDSU will be the lone road match broadcast (Oct. 8). The matches will be aired on KKXL-AM 1440 and WDAY-AM 970.

UND ON TV
