OGDEN, Utah - Junior Troy Huff made it a clean sweep for the University of North Dakota as he picked up Big Sky Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors on Monday. Junior Madi Buck earned the award on the women's side for UND following her team's upset of Utah.
Huff collected the first Big Sky weekly honor for the program since joining the league after posting a double-double off the bench in just his second game back from a broken jaw. Huff's 14-point, 12-rebound effort led UND to a 56-53 win over Bowling Green on Dec. 28.
His 14 points equaled his season-high set in his return vs. Northern Colorado on Dec. 21 and his 12 rebounds were a season-best and just one shy of equaling his career-high. Huff made 4-of-9 shots from the floor, was 1-of-3 from 3-point range, and was 5-of-7 from the free-throw line.
