MISSOURI CITY, Texas – Freshman Abbie Mozzetti helped the North Dakota women's golf team improve its second-round score by 19 strokes on Monday by posting a career-low 74 (+2) in final 18 holes of the day at the HBU Husky Invitational.

UND's top four golfers all improved their second round scores by at least three strokes as the Green and White shot a 331 (+43) after opening the day with a 350 (+62). Mozzetti led the late charge with her career-best round after her 82 (+10) was also the top first-round score for a UND golfer.

Mozzetti, whose previous best round was a 79 on three different occasions, is tied for 17th with 18 holes left to play on Tuesday at the Riverbend Country Club. 

Sophomore Amanda Fairweather and senior Robin Hutchinson both posted 36-hole scores of 173 (+29) and are tied for 69th.
