AZUSA, Calif. – Sophomore Nate Peterson ran a personal record time in the 1,500-meters today, highlighting UND’s split squad action at three different meets.

Peterson clocked a time of 3 minutes, 57.84 seconds, at the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific University. The career-best time also enabled the Horace, N.D., native to place fourth in his section.

Peterson was one of a handful of UND competitors at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

In the 110-meter hurdles, freshman Jimmy Evers (Grand Forks, N.D.) clocked a time of 15.36 seconds, while teammate John LeClerc (Fr., Grafton, N.D.) posted a time of 16.58.

Junior Dwight Mandimika (Harare, Zimbabwe) ran an 800-meters time of 1:57.88, and senior Matthew McCreary (Grand Forks, N.D.) put up a 400-meter hurdles time of 56.98 seconds.

In the field events, freshman D’Monte Farley (Cottage Grove, Minn.) finished first in his long jump flight of 7.05 meters. Four UND competitors also participated in the pole vault, led by Jordan Fisk’s (Jr., Langdon, N.D.) mark of 4.80 meters.
