GRAND FORKS, N.D.—This Spring’s weather has victimized another UND baseball game, a third scheduled game against South Dakota State. After this past weekend’s scheduled home-opening series against Utah Valley was canceled, Tuesday’s new home opener was also postponed due to weather. SDSU had two Tuesday games with UND also wiped off the books earlier this season (Apr. 9 and 16).

UND (11-15-1) has had nine games canceled this season due to weather. Barring any more cancellations, North Dakota is now faced with the unique schedule that would see it play 31 games away from home (12 neutral) before finishing out with 13 straight at home.

North Dakota’s next scheduled series will be its final road series of the season, a four-game Great West Conference slate at New York Tech. First pitch Friday is set for 2:00 p.m. Central.
