Sioux Falls, S.D. - Junior Collin Lervick stands in fourth place and the North Dakota men's golf team is in seventh after the opening two rounds of the Jackrabbit Invitational on Monday. Lervick fired an even-par 71 in his opening 18 holes at the Minnehaha Country Club and followed that up with a 74 (+3) to pace the Green and White in head coach Tim Swanson's debut.

Sophomore transfer Aaron Pulanco carded back-to-back 78's in his first tournament for UND. Pulanco made a team-high seven birdies on the day, while Lervick added six.

Junior Sean Halverson took five strokes off his opening round score to card a 79 (+8) in his second 18 holes. Newcomers Nick Jenson and Brady Ohman also made their UND debuts. Jenson posted a pair of 80's to finish with a 160, while Ohman went 82-80.

UND ended up with a 311 in both rounds to post a 622 (+54). Host South Dakota State finished the day with a one-shot lead on North Dakota State. The Jackrabbits carded a 587 (+19), while the Bison were close by with a 588 (+20).

The final round of the 54-hole event is set for Tuesday morning.
