GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Thirteen student-athletes were among the freshmen named to the University of North Dakota’s D.J. Robertson List, which honors freshmen who earn 4.0 grade-point averages for the most recent semester while completing a minimum of 12 graded hours of coursework.

The student-athletes who were recognized included Kelsey Cartwright (soccer), Annie Chipman (hockey), Colin Cottingham (track/cross country), Ethan Doll (swimming), Steph Frey (swimming), Darian Hedland (track), Aubrey Hovland (track), Megan Kienholz (track/cross country), Halli Krzyzaniak (hockey), Jared Michel (track), Katarina Reller (track), Daniel Sayler (golf), and Rachel Thorstenson (diving).

The award honors the late D.J. Robertson, the first dean of UND's University College and a faculty member for 37 years. Robertson helped create University College in 1955 and served as its dean until retiring in 1978. He passed away in 1993.
